Policy Number: PP-1020 - Supervisory Responsibility



    Supervisors have responsibility and accountability for every aspect of their commands.  Commensurately, within policy guidelines and legal constraints, they have the authority to coordinate and direct assigned personnel and other allocated resources in achieving organizational objectives.  They have the responsibility for maintaining all agency owned property assigned their divisions in a state of operational readiness.  In so doing, they must perform the full range of administrative functions, relying upon policy, direction, training, and personal initiative to guide them and their commands in achieving the highest level of performance possible.
