Neglect of Duty

  1. 'Neglect of Duty' is defined as 'Where an employee fails to carry out all or part of the duty required of him/her, carelessly or intentionally fails to exercise due diligence in the performance of official duty; failing to discharge all or part of one's duty or to take appropriate action.  It includes, but is not limited to not taking appropriate action, failing to investigate a case properly, and failing to complete a report.
