Embed Content in PowerDMS

Did you know you can bring external content like websites and social media posts into your PowerDMS assessment?

Social media sites like Facebook and YouTube offer an </> Embed code to easily share their content. If you're working with a site that doesn’t provide this option, I'll show you how to create your own embed code. You do not need to be a coding expert to follow these instructions.

Step 1

1. Navigate to your assessment and locate the standard where you want to add external content.
2. Click Add New Attachment → New Rich Text.
3. Name the attachment, link it to the standard, and then click Save.

Step 2

• For Facebook or YouTube, navigate to the post or video you want to embed.
• Facebook: Click the three dots in the corner of the post, choose the </> Embed option, and copy the code.
• YouTube: Click Share → < > Embed, and copy the code.
• If the website does not offer an embed feature, use this code:

<iframe src="https://www.powerdms.com/" scrolling="no" width="100%" height="4000" frameborder="0"></iframe>

Step 3

1. Return to your PowerDMS assessment page.
2. In the HTML tab of the design window, paste the copied code over any existing code.
3. Click the Preview tab to verify that it displays correctly.
4. If using the generic embed code, replace "https://www.powerdms.com/" in the code with your desired website URL.

Step 4

Click Save in the Attachment tab to finalize the update.
