History of each Standard: Your Shortcut to Change Tracking

Ever updated your PowerDMS assessment to a new standards manual and used that handy side-by-side comparison feature? It’s a great way to spot what's changed between editions in the moment — but what about when it’s months (or even years) later and you vaguely remember a change but can't recall the details?

Good news: you don’t need to dig through piles of Change Notices.

Use the History Tab Instead

Each standard in your PowerDMS assessment includes a History tab that logs changes over time. This is your go-to spot for revisiting what’s been updated — especially helpful when you:

Keep This in Mind

The date shown in the History tab is when you accepted the change, not necessarily when it was published by the accrediting body. To find the exact release date of a change:

  1. Note the standards manual number/version associated with the update.

  2. Cross-reference that version with the official Change Notices published by your accrediting body.

This gives you a complete picture of both when the standard changed and what exactly changed.
