Required References

Without the Headache

If you’ve been working in accreditation for any length of time, you’ve probably come across standards that require specific references.

Maybe it’s a state statute.
Maybe it’s an administrative rule.
Maybe it’s an external document that every agency is expected to include.

And no matter how you attach them…

They always have to be the most current version.

That’s where things can get tricky.

The Real Challenge

It’s not attaching the reference.

It’s maintaining it.

Because now you’re responsible for making sure:

• The link still works
• The content hasn’t changed
• You’re not using an outdated version

And when those same references show up across multiple standards…

That becomes a lot to keep up with.

A Better Way (Without Doing It All Yourself)

Instead of managing all of that on your own…

What if it was already done for you?

That’s exactly what I’ve built inside the Content Hub.

What I’ve Already Done

I’ve created a full set of required references as clean, ready-to-use documents.

Each one includes a smart link to the source, so you’re always pointing to the most current version.

From there, all you have to do is:

• Import the documents into your system
• Attach them to the appropriate standards
• Let the system do the rest

Where It Really Pays Off

The biggest benefit is what happens after that.

When a reference gets updated…

I update the master version in the Content Hub.

You get notified.

You review and accept.

And just like that, the reference attached to your assessment is updated.

No digging. No double-checking. No wondering if you missed something.

Set It and (Mostly) Forget It

This becomes one of those things you set up once…

And then don’t have to think about again until you get notified of an update.

Which, in accreditation, is a big win.

Currently Available (and What’s Next)

Right now, this resource is built out for agencies that have required references tied to a specific set of standards.

If you’re in that category, it’s ready to go!

And if you’re in another state or working under a different accrediting body that has similar required references…

I’m absolutely open to building and maintaining those as well.

I just need to know they exist. Send me an email and let's get it going for you too!

One Less Thing to Manage

Accreditation already has enough moving parts.

This is one less thing you have to track, update, and worry about.

Quick Takeaway

If you’re managing required references:

Don’t manage them manually.

Use a system that’s already built to keep them current for you. Click on the link below to get connected with this powerful resource.
