Content Hub, Your Digital Resource


If you're subscribed to one or more Content Hubs in PowerDMS, here's a simple tip that can make your day a little easier.

One of my favorite ways to work is to keep the Content Hub open in a separate browser tab while I'm working inside my PowerDMS assessment.

That way, if I need a quick reminder about a standard, want to reference one of my Helpful Tips, or need to look at a proof example from the Proof Bank, I can simply switch tabs instead of stopping what I'm doing to search for and open it.

It's a small workflow change, but one that helps eliminate interruptions and makes it much easier to find the information you need while you're already working.

In the short video below, I'll show you exactly how to open a Content Hub in a separate browser tab so it's always just one click away.


While we're talking about Content Hubs, here's another feature many subscribers don't realize is available.

You can choose to receive email notifications whenever new content is published or existing content is updated.

Since I regularly add new Helpful Tips, proof examples, videos, podcast episodes, and other accreditation resources to the Accreditation Academy Content Hub, enabling email alerts is an easy way to stay informed without having to remember to check for updates.

To manage your email preferences:

  1. Click the Content Hub icon (the cloud with the upward arrow) on the left side of PowerDMS.
  2. Hover over the name of the Content Hub (for example, Accreditation Academy).
  3. Click the three vertical dots and select Manage.
  4. Check (or uncheck) the box to receive email notifications.
  5. Click Save.


Whether you prefer to access content only when you need it or receive notifications whenever something new is added, you can customize your experience to fit the way you work.
